We fought to Acting Colonial Secretary

Sir,
Hong Kong,
Referring to my letter of the 16th February, 1981, and my letter of the 17th December last (of which I have received acknowledgment) I now venture most respectfully and earnestly to crave for an early decision in the matter of my claim for damage done to my property "Belmont" in the Colony.
I am on the eve of leaving on leave of absence for a year and it is of great importance to me that I should receive before my departure the compensation I have so long and patiently awaited.
I have to,
(signed) James B. Foughtice.
The Honorable F. Stewart, LL.D.
Acting Colonial Secretary
